1. Who can use this
You must be at least 18 years old. You must be legally allowed to use a service like this where you live. One account per person. If you have previously been removed for breaking the rules, you may not come back under a new account.
2. What this service is
SL Hookups introduces consenting adults to each other for casual, no-strings connections. We are an introduction platform. We do not arrange, supervise, or take part in what happens between members, and we do not provide or facilitate any commercial service.
3. What you promise us
- Everything you tell us about yourself is true — your age, your photos, your relationship status.
- You will complete photo verification honestly, as yourself.
- You will not share, save, screenshot, or re-post any other member’s photos, messages or identity.
- You will respect consent, and you will not harass, threaten, deceive or pressure anyone.
- You will not ask members for money or use this platform for any commercial purpose.
- You will not scrape, automate, reverse-engineer or attack the service.
- You will not use this service if you are under 18, and you will report anyone you believe is.
4. What we promise you
- The service is free, in full, with no hidden charges and no premium tier.
- We will never sell your personal data.
- We will protect your private information with real technical controls, not just policy.
- A human reviews reports, and we will act on them.
- You can leave and take your data with you, or delete it entirely.
5. Your content
Your photos and words remain yours. You give us a limited licence to store, resize and display them for the purpose of running the service — nothing else. We do not use your photos for marketing. When you delete content, that licence ends.
6. Safety is shared, and partly yours
We verify that members are real people. We cannot verify that they are good people. We do not run criminal background checks. Meeting someone from the internet carries real risk, and you are responsible for your own decisions about who you meet and how.
Please read the safety page before you meet anyone. Meet in public first, tell a friend, and leave whenever you want to.
7. Suspension and removal
We can limit, suspend or permanently remove an account that breaks these terms or the community guidelines. For serious things — sharing someone’s photos or identity, harassment, threats, scams, or anything involving a minor — removal is immediate, permanent, and not appealable. Where a crime may have been committed we will cooperate with the authorities.
8. The service is provided as is
We work hard to keep this running well, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free, or that you will meet anyone. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens between members, including anything that occurs when you meet in person.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new version.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
