How it works
Four steps, about two minutes
No personality quiz, no compatibility score, no algorithm pretending to understand your soul. Just enough information to put you in front of people who want the same thing you do.
1. Sign in with Google
We use Google sign-in because it means you never create another password, and we never store one. Signing in tells us your name and email address — and that is where it stops. We do not post anything, we do not read your contacts, and we do not touch anything else in your Google account.
Your email address is never shown to another member. It is stored separately from your profile, and the database rules physically prevent other accounts from reading it. Not “hidden in the interface” — genuinely unreadable.
2. Tell us what you are actually after
Straight after signing in you land on a short setup wizard. It saves as you go, so you can close it and come back. We ask for:
- The basics — your date of birth (18+, and it has to match the age you confirmed), gender, pronouns and orientation.
- Your situation — single, dating around, in an open relationship, married, separated, divorced, or it is complicated. This matters. People deserve to know what they are walking into, and plenty of members are specifically fine with it.
- Where you are — your district and city. We only ever store an approximate location, snapped to a rough grid. Other members see “about 6 km away”, never a map pin.
- What you are looking for — a one-time meet, something ongoing, friends with benefits, chat only, a travel companion, or open to seeing where it goes.
- Your preferences — who you are interested in, age range, how far you are willing to travel, and your deal-breakers.
- Practical things — whether you can host, whether you can travel, languages you speak, and your expectations around safer sex.
That is genuinely all of it. We do not ask for your phone number, your workplace, your income, or your ID.
3. Verify yourself with a photo
This is the required bit, and it is the reason this app is worth using. We show you a random pose — something like “left hand on your head, two fingers up” — and ask you to take a live selfie doing it. Because the pose is random and generated at that moment, a photo someone saved from Instagram will not pass.
An automatic check looks at the picture first — whether it is sharp enough, bright enough, and actually a photo taken just now. It can turn away something unusable straight away, but it cannot approve anyone.
A person decides. Someone compares your selfie against your profile photos and checks you are holding the pose we asked for. We would rather a human made that call than have software quietly wave people through — being wrong here is how fake profiles get in. Either way the selfie is deleted once a decision is made, and no other member ever sees it.
Until you are verified you cannot browse, match, or message anyone. We say this loudly before you sign up because it is not fair to spring it on you afterwards.
4. Meet people who want the same thing
Now you can actually use the thing. We match you on distance, age, what you are each looking for, and whether your situations are compatible. You can swipe through a deck or browse a grid with filters — whichever you prefer. When two people like each other, a chat opens.
Everything is free. Seeing who liked you is free. Filters are free. There is no premium tier to buy, because there is no premium tier.
What about email verification?
Already handled, and there is nothing for you to click. Google sign-in is the only way into this app, and Google has verified your address before it ever reaches us — so your account gets the verified-email badge the moment you sign in.
We will never send you a “confirm your email” link. It would prove something we already know, and it is one more email in your inbox with this app’s name on it, which is exactly the sort of thing we would rather not put there.
Photo verification is the one that actually requires something from you, and it is the one that is required.
One last honest note
This is for casual, no-strings connections. Please do not arrive hoping to find a soulmate, and please do not get emotionally attached to someone here unless you have both said out loud that you want that. If it does change for both of you, there is a way to say so in the app.
